Before you can import your HexaVault V1 vault V2, please ensure you have created a new vault. Create your vault.
Once you have created your new vault, you can proceed with the migration process.
Export your current vault from HexaVault app and copy the vault file to your computer.
You can export your vault by going to Menu > Export Vault
Download the Vault Import utility
This is a Windows application that will help you import your V1 data into V2.
Once downloaded, unzip the downloaded file, and run VaultImport.exe.
First, enter your new HexaVault Email and Password, then click Login.
Then select your exported vault file and enter the password for that vault.
Click on Import Vault button. It will take a few seconds to load all the information from the old vault.
You will see a list of all the info and you will be able to select category for each information. The tool will automatically select the appropriate category for you based on the template used.
After selecting the categories, click on Import to start the migration process.
The migration process will take a few seconds depending on the size of your vault.
Once the migration is complete, you will see a success message and your data will be available in your new HexaVault V2 account.
